The Journal of Learning Design (JLD) is a bi-annual, refereed journal which was first issued in May and November 2006. It is a venue for the dissemination of valuable and significant works by educational and training practitioners that have resulted in enhanced learning outcomes for students and learners. Manuscripts are refereed by at least two reviewers from the Editorial Board, Review Panel or International Reference Panel.
JLD is DEST accredited and is included in the listing of registered refereed journals. The call for manuscripts has been completed and the first issue was released on 13 July 2005.
Furthermore, the JLD website and publications are archived, registered and disseminated through the databases and portals listed below. These archive systems allow search engines, institutions and libraries in Australia and internationally to harvest and find publications in JLD increasing the search ratings for publications.
